We are the staff who take care of you and your family at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home. We dedicate our lives to providing care, treatment and services to our community. Quality care is our top priority.

WE NEED OUR HEALTH BENEFITS:

Healthcare workers must be healthy, so that we can be there for you when you need it most. It has always been, and remains imperative that we have access to excellent health benefits and are in good health when we care for our ill, frail or injured patients and residents.

Yet, Nathan Littauer management wants to change our current health benefits and replace it with plans that would require us to pay more when we need health care. Our current benefits are the lifeline for our health, and the health of our families. It is the main reason why many of us continue to work at Nathan Littauer. Changing the benefits that we count on is a slap in the face to those of us who recently weathered a pandemic, making personal sacrifices, sometimes risking our lives.

We Support the 1199 Caregivers at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home.

The 1199 workers at Nathan Littauer are the backbone of the hospital and the nursing home—without them, who would take care of us? They are also members of our family, friends and neighbors, who live, shop, attend religious services and raise their children in our community.

We urge Sean Fadele, Nathan Littauer CEO, and his administration, to reconsider the misguided proposal to change the current health benefits of 1199 members.
